Hi guys and welcome to today's video post. It's very simple today. I'm going to show you a recipe in 30 seconds, literally 30 seconds, that's how long it's going to take to make.
I was just watching Jamie's Ministry of Food, which is a new program, which shows you very, very basic recipes, and you pass them onto your friends, and hopefully that teaches the world how to cook.
I'm always surprised, I think some people literally don't know how to boil water. So I'm going to show you a recipe today. It uses four things that comes under packets, and it's a lovely simple quick dessert, couldn't be any easier than that.
First up, raspberries. Pop those into a bowl. I'm also going to add in a little bit of Creme Fraiche. And this isn't actually technically cooking, all I am doing is I am taking stuff out of packets and I'm mixing them together to make a dessert, right about ten seconds so far literally.
Mix in some honey. And that's the thing, I think when people cook, they get so surprised that they can make stuff out of really, really simple stuff. In next is Biscotti Biscuits. Now, it might sound like it's a big fancy name, Biscotti, it's not, you will find them at every supermarket in the world. Just sort of roughly breaking them up and down. What that does is that's going to give it a lovely sort of crunchy texture to this dessert. These are pretty sort of crunchy ones, which they should be, Biscotti, in all fairness.
So break those up, and just very gently, using a spatula, I am just going to combine that. And what you're going to end up with is a sort of a really nice texture from the raspberries, that are nice and soft and that sort of little bitterness. You are also going to have the lovely crunchy Biscottis and that Creme Fraiche is just going to really bind it all together. And it's sort of like an eat-and-mess or something like that, just a really simple dessert. Now, literally 30 seconds.
That's not really what you would call traditional cooking, but it is certainly getting the ball rolling. You have got some lovely flavors, you have made it into a dessert. You can bring it out to the table. You have impressed your friends that you have got a really fancy sort of gourmet dessert, when in all fairness all you have done is pulled it straight out of a packet. Look at that, really, really tasty, really, really nice, a simple raspberries with Creme Fraiche and Biscotti.
