Easy Install Laminate Floor

I’m a big fan of hardwood floors all to the entire house, if you use a click and lock laminate hardwood floor then it’s damage resistant and it can give your kitchen a nice warm country feel. Now, what makes this difference is it composite material almost like a plastic, it’s scratch resistant the dog can run across it, you can drop pots and pans and your not going to damage this like you would regular hardwood and also it’s going to last you for decades. The great thing about click and lock laminates is they literally just click and lock together, click and lock they’re you go. Is that simple and trust me you can do this. Before you get started you need to pick up the right shade or right color for your room. The number one rule, do not use darker shades for smaller rooms, the lighter colors will make the room feel warmer and much larger and always, always by more than you need because you are going to make some bad cuts. These are the things that you will need, it’s simple. The laminate hardwood flooring, shoe molding to cover the same, always a tape measure, rubber mallet, pencil, right angle square, nail, compressor and brad nails. Also a miter saw and hand saw to cut the piece to fit. The process is really simple and anybody can do it. First cleanout the room, second install the flooring. When you get to the wall you want to measure and cut the pieces to fit the space. We are using a miter saw and the hand saw then we put those pieces in place. Remember leave a quarter inch to space along the wall to allow for expansion and contraction.
