Mike: Hi! My name is Mike, I am 28 from Massachusetts. I have meals with a lot of tomato sauce in it and it feels like burning in my chest after I am done and my first think it's just that I eat too fast. Any idea what it could be? Dr. Jim Jiris: Thanks for your question Mike. Your symptoms are most consistent with Esophageal Reflux or heart burn as it's commonly known. Treatment for a heart burn includes taking in an acid daily for several weeks. If the symptoms don't go away or if they come back after you stop, you should see your doctor about it.
