Shell: Locking devices, they can be knob type. They can be dead bolt type, but you know we have always related to a lock with a key to operate. Well today, we are going to talk about a lock that requires no key. It is all electronic and with me to talk about that. I have got Ron Hodgkin’s and here from Weiser Lock. How are you doing Ron?
Ron: I am great Shell.
Shell: Well electronic bearable locks, tell me about it. What is the name of this? What do you call it?
Ron: This is the brand new power bolt electronic keyless entry system.
Shell: well that is unique, power bolt yes, okay. It is all powered up by, what a computer and batteries?
Ron: That is right. It has an electronic keypad and on the back it has a digital control panel.
Shell: There we go. Now batteries, how long will they last?
Ron: Shell, we will just change the batteries once a year.
Shell: Just like smoke alarm?
Ron: Exactly.
Shell: Well let us see if in can open this. What is the code?
Ron: 9371.
Shell: 9371. Well there we go. So, that could be the code for the family. What would happen if I had someone come into the house? For example someone that come look after the dog when we are on holidays is there a separate code for them or do you just give them the house code?
Ron: You can put in a second code.
Shell: I see.
Ron: That is easy. I will lock this here and why do you not put in 2288.
Shell: 2288. Wow, so therefore you can have a service code. Is that something that you can change at any time?
Ron: At anytime.
Shell: So all you have to do is take the back off and snap it on. Excellent, well let us go on and install one of this.
Ron: Great.
