Enjoy Being Marketed To - Why?

Hey guys! David Risley here with davidrisley.com and I am currently in the background compiling my last pro-blogger flip tip because yes I am doing this rapid fire style today.

Any who, my tip for you today has to do being sold to. Now, a lot of people they do not like receiving e-mail marketing. They consider it to be spam and you delete it, you to stay off people's mailing lists etc. However if you're in, if you're working on line you're trying to make money on the Internet, you want to reserve what the people who are making on making money on the Internet what they're doing and the hell they're doing it which means you want to be on their mailing lists. You can receive what they're trying to sell. It doesn't mean you have to buy what they're offering me but you want to observe how it is that they are going about selling it.

So, I encourage you to, if you're one of these people who like to say, ‘I don't want to be on anybody's mailing list because they're going to market things to me. I encourage you to reconsider your position because you're not obligated at buying thing, you’re just on their mailing list and if, you can always set up a filter and then whenever you get an email from that particular source, you just file it away somewhere and you can read it whenever you want.

Now yesterday's pro-blogger flip tip, I talked about the importance of swipe file and I talked about how you can use your browser to save sales letters for future reference. You could also do this by e-mail. In my G mail account I have a label which and I use it as a folder and it's basically a swipe file so I’m on people’s mailing list like John Reese and Frank Kern's Mass Control, you know a whole bunch of people. You guys have probably heard of, not only in the Internet marketing Ram but also people that are bloggers and I'm on their mailing list and I basically let it, go into that file. If ever I wanted to reference that as potential sales copy later, I know where to find it and I don't mind these people selling things to me because I like to know if I am thinking about buying this personal product even for a minute that means that that person is doing really good job and that's a sales copy that I want to look at later for potential reference when I'm running my own sales copies.

So do not put up a barrier to e-mail marketing. You want to, beyond these mailing list is there’s nothing wrong with it. If you want you can set up a separate email account and just have everything typed into that but don't try to keep off of all these mailing lists because that's useful information that's coming in to you just so you can observe how it is to selling things.
