In this video, I am going to demonstrate “How to use the Equation Editor in Microsoft Word.” Click on tools, then on customize and then, on insert. Scroll down on the right side until you see the Equations symbol, is a small radical sign. Click on it ones and then drag and drop it anywhere on the tool bar.
To create an equation, you have to click ones on that symbol and a small floating equation tool bar will appear on the screen you can select various symbols such as fractions, radicals, sums, and so on. Click on the desire symbols and insert your numbers or letters. It takes a little bit of practice but it is very self explanatory.
Okay, let us click on square root 81. Let us select less than or equal to and let us make this inequality negative 2m. Okay, once you are done, click ones outside of that window and then, enlarge by dragging as desired.
You can add background to that formula by clicking on background and choosing a color and then, you can use this equation anywhere you want. You can copy and paste it in power point for instance or you can generate new equations by following the same procedure.
