This is called Tadasana Mountain and it has all the power the mountain represents. We only achieve that power once we get correct alignment in the body.
In yoga what we have to do is work with this alignment and then just change the angles. So, stand where your feet, hip is upon. Open up the source of the feet so it lengthens them and broaden them. Open the foot from the center, okay. Heels turn out sliding so the feet are in straight line with the hips. Then you can transfer the weight into the source like this. Then move back into the heels then walk slowly forward until you’re in the center of the foot so the weight is evenly balance across the sole of the foot, good.
There are some ways over the arches, from there just allow the knees to soften, allow the hips to relax. Try and get a sense of the hips, balancing or floating over the sole of the foot. Good. And then start to connect at the chest, so the chest is floating over the hips or floating over the feet. And then concentrating on the shoulders, relax them. The head starts to float in the center of the chest, good. Chin is tuck in and the eyes are the tools of horizon. Good.
Relaxing knee caps, then try to find the hips in relationship to the feet. The hips will actually float above the center of the foot then find the chest in relationship to the hips. So, the chest is floating above the hips which are floating above our center of gravity in the foot. Then the shoulders relax and the chin tucks in and our eyes but tools of horizon. So, you have the head floating above the chest, above the hips and above the feet.
Once we’ve find correct alignment we release tension any way it goes down. We yield to the air and once we find this heel and it comes in to the body as a thing for liberty which gives us the length.
