Exciting Easter Egg hunt ideas.
Hunting for Easter eggs is a fun holiday activity that children and families have been practicing for generations.
It is especially wonderful how many families add their own unique details to the occasion!
I hope you find something new as you read about these traditions, and that you smile at the differences.
Kisses for Easter. Leave a trail of chocolate kisses from your child’s bedroom door all the way to their Easter basket.
Follow the clues. Place clues inside plastic Easter eggs leading your child to their Easter basket. You can also have children make up their own clues for each other.
An Easter note. Hide plastic Easter eggs with little notes inside. The notes could either be what prize they have won, a poem, or just a clue.
The Easter Spider. Have children follow a string all around the house collecting goodies in their baskets along the way. Loop the string under and around furniture to make it extra fun.
Easter Post-it notes. This may be a good idea if you have a pet prone to eating hidden Easter goodies. Write clues on Post-It Notes leading to Easter treats. Where they are less likely to get eaten by Fido.
Happy hunting.
