Explaining Parkinson's Disease I think we have an animation of Parkinsons if you could walk us through to it. So the substantia nigra is the part of the brain in Parkinsons that generates. The nigra uses a chemical called dopamine to communicate with the rest of the brain. When you lack dopamine such as in Parkinsons disease that’s why you get all the symptoms of Parkinsons.
