Hi! I am Fatima Olive with Ford Artist. And today, we are going to talk about eyebrows. What to do, what not to do and everything in between. We want to create a very nice sloping line right here. We do not want a separation from the front part of the brow to the back part of the brow. I am going to mark off the place where the eyebrows should begin with the arch of the brows should be and where it should stop.
I am going to do it with the white pencil, which is a great idea, because that way you know exactly where are you going, where you are going to tweeze. Because, remember once you tweeze something it is hard to get it to come back. If you take a line from the corner of the nose to the corner of the eye here and straight up that is where the brows should begin. So, that is where I am going to mark. Then, the brows should end at the corner of the nose, corner of the eye and that is where the brows should end. So, I am marked it off there. And, a straight line from the outside of the iris right there, as where the highest point of the brows should be. If I then take and join these lines to here, anything that is underneath that line I am going to rid off.
Now, that is done you are ready to tweeze the brows. And, I find that doing this in natural light is the easiest way to go, because you are really going to be able to see best, avoid hotel room and bathrooms. I want to grab just the base in here and try to do one at a time. Some people get a little impatient with this. And, I think what happen is that at the end tweezing too much. And, you really can see, look you can really see the shape emerging. And, I was talking about that nice even slope right there.
Now, you can take this white pencil and blended in. You know what it does, it kind of hide any pinkness that you might have gotten from tweezing the brows. Right now, here is the tricky part. You have to make them match, right? And, no one’s brows are perfectly even, so my recommendation is to always start on the heavier brows, which is what we did on Janette and then make a thinner brow match up. Because, if you started on the thinner brow and over tweeze, forget it, you are going to end up with brows that are too thin. So, really think about which is your thicker brow, start with that one first and make sure that you do not over tweeze the thinner brow.
The next thing that people ask you is about trimming the brows. If you are going to trim the brows, take your time, do not over do. You brush up and just trim the tips. Do not over do it, do not go crazy because otherwise, it tends to look very unnatural, as well. The next thing and the last step that we are going to do is grim the brows. I like to use a gel, this one happens to be from the Benefit called Speed brows fantastic and it is clear. It is the gel that holds the brow in place, so they stay exactly where you want them to be.
Sort of like hairspray for your eyebrows.
It is a hairspray for your eyebrows. Let me just remind you, here is what you need for great brows: a pair of tweezers, some other brush that you can comb your brows, a white-eye pencil. It could be actually any color except maybe browns and blacks, because those are too close to the hair and you would not be able to differentiate where you need to tweeze, pair of scissors if you need to trim, and then last but not least, something to grim your brows in a clear color.
Five steps of beautiful brows. I am Fatima Olive with Ford Artist I will come back and see you soon.
