Facebook for grownups - #10 - Facebook Overview and Navigation

Welcome back to Facebook for Grownups. After you’ve made some friends on Facebook you'll begin to notice that the screen that appears upon log in will start to look different. When you first log in you'll see the news feed which is displaying all of your friend’s activities on Facebook. You can also view your friend’s status updates and any photos or posted items. The live feed shows you all of your friend’s activity. You can also choose to view your friend’s activity and things like events, notes, groups and so on. If you see a number next to inbox that means that someone has sent you a message on Facebook. Facebook mail works just like your regular email. You'll also be notified if you have any friend request or if you have any notification for things like someone wrote on your wall. From here you can navigate to your profile, view your friends and your applications. Remember there are ten parts to this series so don’t forget to check out the other parts in the Facebook for Grownups series.
