Fashion for Men - Common Male Fashion Mistakes Hello my name is Aaron Marino from Alpha M Image Consulting. Today we’re going to take a fun look at 11 common fashion mistakes that I see in a lot of guys are making. The reason we’re doing this, we’re going to prevent you from being the butt of jokes. Now let’s get started. First thing socks and sandals, I don’t care if the cocks are white, I don’t care if they’re black if you’re wearing socks and wearing sandals you need to go take the socks off, you look dorky. Next thing shoes and belts, they need to match but they not only need to match in color meaning in you know brown shoes with brown belt; black shoes, black belt. They also need to match in the finish meaning if your shoes are shiny your belt needs to be shiny also. Next thing very important gold chains with gold pendants, now one exception if your name is Vinny, you hale from the northeast and you drive an IROC-Z disregard this information you’re awesome keep it up. If that’s not you, we need modify that, take the big gold chain off. Next thing is pleated pants, we’ve already discuss this; pleated pants aren’t a good look on anybody. Next thing jean shorts, now I don’t know how they got popular, they did though for awhile so they shouldn’t have, you need to take those jean shorts off and get rid of them, they’re not a good look. Next thing spandex, anything, now unless your name is Lance Armstrong you can pull it off, the rest of us we can’t. Don’t even try not even at the gym. Hawaiian shirts, if you’re on a cruise wear the Hawaiian shirt if you’re going to Hawaii wear the Hawaiian shirt; if you’re a waiter at Bahama Breeze you also get a pass. Next thing, ties with funny designs. Now I know it’s a funny tie, maybe your daughter gave it to you but you really aren’t impressing anybody with the you know Looney Tunes cartoons on your tie, okay; nothing sleek, sexy, stylish about funny tie. Next thing short-sleeve dress shirt with tie, I know it’s hot. Roll your sleeves up put a little extra deodorant but you like kind of dorky when you’re doing that so let’s not wear ties with short-sleeve dress shirts.
