Everybody knows what is in this bucket. Dry wall compound, you are going to use this to tape drywall or maybe patch some holes around your home and it is really great product but here is the problem. It dries slowly. I mean it can take depending on the humidity outdoors or even indoors, it can take days work to completely dry.
What happens if you are on a rush and you need to get a job done on a couple of hours? There is a product you can use. Inside this bag is a joint compound but it a powder that you mix with water and as soon as you add the water, it starts a count down to when the material gets hard and that time is that number on the bag.
The trick is just to go ahead and pour a little bit in here. I want to show you how it mix it up and it is really simple to work with but it is like flour, it goes everywhere so you have to be careful.
Just add regular clear water and you do not want to add too much because then you will just make soup. You just add a little water at a time. Just use any kind of a mixing tool and just kind of mix it up. Oh yes look at that, that is a nice consistency to work with.
Remember this is the material you use if you need it to dry quickly. I am talking in a matter of minutes like 30, 45 even 90 minutes not days and it works great for regular dry wall and it is best for plaster. The stuff in the buckets, it does not stick the plaster. This is what you want to use and it is easy to sand.
