Feng Shuii 101: How to Set Up Your Oven and Fridge

Female1: Let’s talk a bit about kitchen feng shui and setting up your oven and your refrigerator. Now you can see the oven over here on the left. It’s a little apartment version and you can see the refrigerator nearby. Now it would be not good to have the refrigerator and the oven directly across from each other. It shouldn’t face each other because you have the oven representing the fire element and you have the refrigerator representing the water element and they’re going to war so you don’t want to have those two water elements and fire elements battling one another. That would not be good.

And if they’re also together side by side, that’s bad too and usually they don’t mix harmoniously and it’s said that quarrels can oftentimes arise in the household. So, be sure that the oven and your refrigerator are not directly opposite each other and that there is at least twenty inches width and length of surface between each element. And we have this nice counter top here to provide that spacing. So fire and water can exist side by side in harmony.
