Ferrari 599GTB HGTE and 599XX

They might have a dummy behind the wheel of this car but I am not sure he could drive it. This is the 599XX, it's a follow up to the FXX program, it's like a customer race car that Ferrari will sell. It allows you to do six races, it's a track only car and it's a very light weight development of the 599 GTB. It's something like 600 pounds lighter, engine makes 700 horsepower at 9000 RPM, sits on slick tires, it's got a load of carbon fibre add-ons particularly for the aerodynamics. Basically, you pay $1.12 million and you get this car to drive at your pleasure at race tracks around the world. The other program that Ferrari brought to Geneva this year was the HTT handling package for the 599 GTB.

Now the 599 is a pretty darn good car and it handles pretty sharply if you ask us. What they have done is they have actually stiffened the springs, stiffened the rear anti-roll bar, they have made the shocks stiffer in the sporty setting and they have made the incredibly fast F1 handle shift gearbox even quicker. It's a sharper, faster version of the 599 GTB and it's kind of hard to argue with that as well. But I really love the XX, I think it's a terrific looking car. You could say it's a bit of a rip off but hey, it's a Ferrari and it's your own Ferrari race car.
