Field Sketching Essentials

If you are thinking about taking some art supply with you on vacation, here are the basics that you need to take. One of my favorites is of course a sketch or just a little sketch pad that you might want to use as a travel journal and also making post card size either water color or just hot-pressed paper good for an ink is really great to have to make postcards and send them to your friends and family from scenes on your vacation.

Also, if you are going to bring pencils, you better bring an eraser and also remember to bring a foldable chair. It is always great if we are going to be doing scenic painting. It is great to sit in the field and bring along some pen, some pencils. Also, a really great idea is to bring along a little travel case of water colors or bring a container for your water and maybe a little foldable chair that you can sit in and just place wherever you find a nice little scenic view that you would like to either paint or draw, okay. Also, it is really nice to have little small chemises. It is something that is great you can just throw it with your luggage and it is easy, it is small.
