Hey guys, E. Meek 77 here and I am just here to show you a little quick run down of color, a little tutorial of how to change the color of something, it do not necessarily change the color of things like it would in a composity add, like motion or combustion, but it works of hues and saturations and I am going to show you how it works. So, over here under our secondary tab is where we want to make most of our adjustments to this and over here on the right is a little eye dropper and if you click this eye dropper, immediately over here on the left under my scopes a little cross hair comes out and I want to sample a color and you can just click once and you can just drag to kind of get a whole more of what you want to change. I want to work on the sky, as you can see I click and drag over here in the center of the screen, it changes right here, this is my key, everything in the white is what is going to be affected and as you can see, I just want to affect the sky, I do not want to affect the dolphin or anything else, but we will fix that in a minute.
So now, that we have kind of basic key in the sky, I want to go up here in the top right corner and adjust our hue saturations luminous lighters. This is luminous saturation in hue and I am going to mess it a little bit and try to make the sky as white, and as much as the sky is white it is possible. And, you can do this by kind of fooling around with it as you can see, there we go, I can open up my saturation a little bit, move my hue, luminous and as you can see, it is totally coming out some stuff in the water and the dolphins and we do not want that. But, I am going to show you something that is amazing that is what is great about color. What we do is we will go down here and this little button right here. We are going to put a venyet or however you pronounce it, I call it venyet, but you can call it whatever you want.
And that brings up these little circles. Now, whatever is inside this little circle is what is going to be affected kind of like garbage mat. So I am coming up, bring it up here, encompass my sky with it. Make sure I get the whole sky; this is quick and dirty so of course, you can do a lot better than this that is pretty much in composition of the sky for me. Now, that looks pretty good. Now that I have got that, I want to go in here in I am going to start making some adjustments. I will give it a lot more blue and is you watch over here, you will see the changes and it will just affect the sky, I am going to stroke a more blue in there. That can maybe a little darker, make it look like a little bit darker, out like this and like a little bit of mid tones in here, make it a little bit darker, like a night
sky.
As you can see over here the changes and then I can come over here and maybe give a little bit purple, make it really pretty. And, as you can see over here on the left, we have our finish project, it is really rough, but as you can see basically the power of color guys and what makes this so great and why everybody has come in an apple on this application include in final cut studio suite. This is just a quick rough example of how you can change colors and get a quick look and let me show you the before. That is the before and as you can see, pretty neat. I hope you got some out of this and I will see you next time.
