Hey you guys, E. Meek 77 back at you and I am just here with the real fast tip, just a real quick tip. Somebody was asking me, what is this button do? Sink opening gang. Well, I want to tell you right now. Right now it set to sink off and as you can see it is in a normal. We have my tiger clip loaded in the viewer and my horse raise track in the time line, which makes it visible in the canvas and everything is normal, okay.
Well, if you go up here and click open it sinks the viewer and the canvas and when I move my play hidden time line, both of them move at the same time, it is sinks. Now, you ask yourself why I want the same video in both windows that do not make no sense. Well, a lot of times you want to adjust the motion, while you watch your video.
Now, I can see the adjustments to my clip while I watching the clip if I am working with key frames or whatever. As you see when I move the time line play head up here in the window it moves in the time line down to the bottom. Everything is sink and this good like I said if you want to work on effect or scales and stuff and you want to be able to see your clip, while you work. That is the really great technique. And, as you get more advances in the editing you will see you use this more and more.
Now, let me load my tiger clip up here into the viewer. Just like to explain like gang does. I will click gang. As you see is the tip clips are moving together when I move my play head you can see the tiger is moving and the horses are moving. There are in sink, but it is a different clip. This can be handy while doing for offline editing of the sort, but you guys probably will not use this function a whole lot, but the more and more you get in to editing the more and more you will see that there are places you need to use this technique here.
As you can see gang, sinks the clips that is in the viewer with the clip in the canvas and when I move my play head they both move at once, but the clips are different and when I go to opens put both clips in the canvas in the viewer and sinks them and sink off is normal, when I move the play head the tiger clip stays the same and that is that.
So, remember open, sinks, puts that clip that is in the time line in both you viewer in canvas, so you can work on effects and stuff and still your clip. Gang makes the clip in the viewer, in canvas sinked. They move at the same time with the play head in the time line as you can see. It is the different clip, just like before, when both the same clip was in both viewing canvas is the exact same thing that sink only is two different clips is in the same clip.
Does this make any sense? I hope it does. You all can go back and watch it again if the explanation really did not get through.
