How does budget help to determine a destination for a summer vacation? Budget actually determines the destination just based on the cost. If you have a more expensive destination like New Zealand that you wanted to go to in a summer time or Tahiti, you’re looking air fare running for just two people close to $3,000. So if your budget is $3,000 max, then that is going to rule out those destinations for you but you might have an alternate destination like Hawaii where we can do a nice week long stay within that. So it sort of helps guide where you want to go.
