Firefox 3 .0 - Internet Review
Hey guys, today I'm doing my Firefox 3.0 Review. As you know, Firefox came outabout a month ago, this is the icon. Yes, it look smaller than before I used to find out Firefox would be like at least 70 megabytes. Also, Firefox is—they claim they fixed the memory leak problem. I’m sure most of you are familiar with and they claim to have new technologies and one of the new features in Firefox —r before we get to that, Firefox takes a little bit longer to load than Safari on startup and my internet is sluggish.
And while we’re waiting, as you can notice the interface is much more integrated into Leopard. It’s not the old interface with all these colors. It’s more Leopard enhanced. Firefox on the website, they claim that this new version to it’s particular—to it’s prospective OS it will be much more integrated and much—it will fit into the operating system much better. It also claims how it’s better than Safari because it has got some—it’s got active security features, security processes and industry faster response times just—it compares to my Firefox but there’s not many plugins that support Leopard, Firefox so it’s not that useful.
But one thing I do find that’s pretty cool is the location bar. Location bar is this, if I’ve search up Google it will pop up all—anything in my browsing history that has Google in it. And other than that, it’s—that’s the only thing new I see about Firefox 3.0. Also, if you find the scrolling a little more—a little sluggish or a little uneven you can use smooth scrolling instead of auto. That will make it much more even and smooth like in Safari. And as much more secured than before Firefox used to be a little bit less of care but now it’s much better and overall, again, Firefox scores 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. If you want the loading of this is very comparable to Safari’s load times as this loads very instantly almost instantly and I’m using a chi network.
The speed on this is pretty fast and is comparable to Safari I have said that. And also, there’s an RSS feed, there’s a star which stands for bookmarks and I imported my bookmarks all from Safari so you see default Safari bookmarks. And it’s not easy to search things, you can use the integrated searching in here, there’s Amazon, Yahoo, eBay, Wikipedia, all these other search engines. I only know a few in Google. So that’s pretty much it. That’s the Firefox 3.0 review, I gave it 4.5 starts out of 5. That’s a very good rating and I hope Firefox can make things even better next time in the future, so thanks for watching, Snow Leopard here.
