Firefox Minefield will come up pretty soon. Now you know on Linux the Firefox is pretty crappy as compared to the other versions like on the Windows or Mac, but this one I will say is way better than 3.0 or 3.1 or whatever, and let me show it off.
Now this one is called Minefield and I’m using 3.6 that’s a pre-Alpha version I believe, but I say it’s pretty stable as far as me using it. Now they do have this little you know open new tab and also it’s kind of late now that shit has been out for like a long ass time in I mean an Oprah, but it’s better late than never you know the thing.
So let me load some pages here. Now the loading pages I will say Google Chrome, the one I used last time I would say you know I give it the edge because that thing was pretty fucking fast. This one is not far off, but I want to say the Winds versus the Google Chrome okay, but you know you really cannot tell the difference really. You know everything is pretty quick not that much trouble with loading, and they use less memory you know because Firefox is always a memory hug, but this time I feel like it’s using less. You can actually see in your —what is this? Control system monitor or whatever.
Now, they do have the private browsing here you see, and this kind like different because they seize your tabs that you had opened, and that it gives you this window not like the Chrome where they give you two windows, and you can use in private browsing or irregular. This one, it allows you to do this and after you’re done with your whatever you want to do, you can go back to it you see stop by browsing and you go back to all your tabs that you had opened, so that’s the way they do it, and I like it.
Let me see —yeah, this is probably the thing that I love the best because in Google Chrome you cannot get flash to work, so I can’t really tell if it’s really better or not but in Firefox and if you compare the Minefield to the Firefox 3.0 you’ll see that there’s a clear difference and I believe this is due to the HTML file that they have hype it about and the hype is worth it. I believe this is a semi-file I’m not really very sure, but if you watch the videos on YouTube or Hulu or whatever, it loads faster, so let me click on this shit and it plays like instantly I don’t see no log. I love it because on Linux flash, videos, Firefox and all that is notorious slow, buggy, laggy, glitchy all that shit alright. And it was all true but since like they fixed it.
So yeah, even like if I click on other you know videos it plays it instantly, and I love it so that’s that. If you are a person who watch a lot of videos I recommend getting this shit now okay. Now this one won’t replace your 3.0, so you can use it side by side if you don’t like this one you know just delete it, and you still have your 3.0 so that’s a good thing to test it out see if you like it and then keep it okay.
And for the Adds on, not all adds are safe now, but majority of the good ones work like add block, auto pager and all that. I believe this one is going to have your ubiquity by default. Now you don’t want your ubiquity as it’s kind like Gnome Do for Firefox and it makes I guess integration with other services better so uploads a video on that. If you want to learn what the hell that is what, that thing I will say is a game changer for as far as the browser wars you know but Opera they have some new shit too, so we’ll see who wins in the end, but as far as the Firefox if you’re a Firefox user and you like to use your Add ons and that shit, I recommend getting in that shit right now. I mean, this is not stable or whatever but you can even tell the different, it’s faster. It’s way better than that fucking 3.0 piece of shit okay. It loads faster and everything, so I recommend yeah now, and don’t even wait and I’ll post repositories for it and just get it, that’s it.
