Taniya Nayak: When the fire leader kicks in, it is time to decorate that fire place. Try
using colors like sky blues, African inspired greens and yellows. You can
also add some texture with some sculpture metals. First up, let’s tackle
that traditional red brick fire place. We can start it off with some shiny
blue basis then add some red candles across the metal to bring some down
to the heart as well, that will add some balance. It will be a great
inexpensive way to add a punch of color as well as set the mode.
Now, if you’re thinking that the red is just a little too intense that’s okay,
you can tone it down with some neutral color candles and for height you
can had a blue. Here is a tip, try a classic design principle of decorating in
a triangle, you can either put the plate on the center or and either side in
this particular case the point is on the left. Then add a little personality by
hanging family photos right of the giggle leaf branches. Last but not least,
sprinkles some nature right on top of the mental by adding some fresh ball
leaves. I love the contrast here; the red and blue bring warm and cool right
here to a traditional fire place.
A lot of newer contraction have very modern fire place around, so here
what’s you do. You embrace it a dramatic black frame highlights of cobalt
blue piece or rust silk. It such an easy project and it’s the perfect back
draft for a clean modern base. The base is holding a great big textured
velvety flower; all of these elements together actually make the fire place
look like still like pinning. The side of your fireplace often got forgotten
so, put them to work a great idea is the plaint either side with metal
screens and both of candles this is a great way to add a designer touch.
Next, bring it some candles and some red leaves to tie the look of the
entire fire place together.
If you really want to change things up maybe even get a little exotic. Look
to other countries for inspiration, Morocco is the basis for this fall eclectic
design. Start by choosing a color, I have three basis in different shapes but
they’re all olive green. The first one is a tall slender base that actually
looks like a sculpture; the next one is short and small is on top of the metal
and its gives a little bit of balance. And the last one is the nice medium
size base for texture. To fill out the metal try using vibrant colored
Moroccan two glasses, set them in group of three for much more impact.
You want a nice, warm glow without all of the vast of a fire? Try of using
a variety of candles in different shapes and sizes. But putting a view
cautions in front of the fireplace they serve as double duty not only do
they look great but they’re also the best sit in the house. Creating a cool
foul lift for your fireplace, it doesn’t mean you have to rely on traditional
themes. Use nature, intense fault colors and unusual pottery to really live
in things up.
