Bill Miller: Hi! I am Bill Miller. I am here with a bunch of friends and we were doing little archery today. We are using both, traditional recurved bows and long bows. We have a little selection of bows here. This is a typical long bow and Gary here is also holding a typical one long bow. Also some of those are using recurved bows. It have the curved tips. They give a little bit of, a little bit of snap when you release as opposed to a long bow which gives a smoother release for arrow flight.
Here are few different types of arrows that we have used. This one is a cedar arrow, cedar one. A typical three fletch on it, little bit of crusting. This is a aluminum shaft arrow with typical three fletch on it. This is a fiber glass arrow that, they aren't used too much anymore. They were more popular back in the 50s and 60s and this is a, called a whistling arrow and when you flew it up in the air it will whistle.
Speaker: Well, may be not. Not a few.
Whoops! This is a good ways to use katana as we don't get it here out.
Speaker: Not yet, but not yet.
Speaker 2: If there is too many people who want to run at you with, you may it sticks like this and.
Female Speaker: I mean it was good over head strike, yeah, because it holds right there, and down there.
Speaker 2: It's slow.
Speaker: I found a new way of dealing with people like to do it. You put your hands over there. That way swing down and sweep up and sweep down.
Speaker: We are going to shoot first. You are going to have to wait.
