I recently bought this product. I am a single mom with a 4 year old son. It is difficult in my city to find personal trainers or gyms in our area. Since purchasing the wii fit and learning the yoga and strength building excersises i have set up my own routine in the system. I have changed my eating habits and with a 1 hour/5 day a week routine on the wii fit I have already found my weight loss noticable. Also I think it is wonderful that the program will not allow you to set unreasonable goals and pushes you to fullfil them. My rating...9/10!

I thought this was a good review for someone who's never seen the system before. So thank you for doing it. Your review is consistent with the American Council on Exercise which says this system is okay but just as you say, shouldn't replace other exercise routines. This is a very mild workout. I just bought the Wii Personal Trainer but see that I can't use weights with it. I haven't opened it yet, so maybe I'll take it back!

you cant really assess the usefulness of the wii fit by trying it out for a few minutes and playing games! your review is flawed, and obviously biased because you are paid to train people. i too was skeptical with the wii fit. but i have since learned that the basic exercises, which you have unlocked, are quite easy compared to the advanced exercises, cardio, training and yoga, which you have not yet unlocked(..and you are not very good at yet!) the wii fit is a great alternative to the gym on days that i am unable to go, especially now that i have worked my way up from the basic to the advanced. anyone can work their way up, at their own steady pace! once they are stronger and healthier, they can incorporate other exercises and training into their workouts (just as "guest" below mentioned) I highly recommend the wii fit for the old, young, fit or "not yet fit". good luck everyone! you can do it! :)

You are a really annoying woman. I just had a baby, and the Wii fit is perfect because I can use it while the baby is napping. It is so convenient. I guess the Wii fit won't work if you are lazy and do not want to lose weight.
