Fixing a Chair Squeak

Squeak every time you sit down? Well, there is an easy way to repair that. Make sure that dowel is good and tight into the leg or into the back of the chair. Now, there are a number of products on the market. I am going to use wood type. There are other products like chair lock and swell lock. And they are designed to actually swell the wood and when it is swollen it seals and tightens when it hardens. That way it takes the whole squeaking movement out of the chair. Now, it is very easy to apply. Just remove the nozzle and there is a needle application nozzle and work it around the dowel. You can see that it actually work down the coppery goes down into the cavity of the dowel. And as it is going down, it is reaching the bottom of the hole. It swells the dowel and when it swells it seals firm, that way you are taking the squeak out and taking the looseness out off the chair.
