You can also play that same part and up higher up here. So I’m making a three string position right here which is like the top three strings of an F shape moved up here to make a C chord, and I’m doing that same middle low, middle high pattern. And then I’m bringing this two fingers down on the tenth fret there on the third and second strings, that’s my ring finger on the third string and my little finger on the second string and my top finger is still holding down the top string and that makes an F chord. So I’m going—bringing this down.

Now the little melodic part, so that’s all right in this position, then go here and this little shape is like a D but fingered like that and move up here to make a G.

So there I’m making all four fingers of the F shape up there and make the C chord. Now let’s go to the split screen and I will play the melody part, then I’ll play the rhythm part and you will have something to play along with to practice and I will do each of those twice. I will play melody then rhythm then melody again and then the rhythm part again.
