In part two of the foot massage video, I want to show you some simple techniques that you can use.

Starting with circular friction on the inside of the arch then on the back of the foot, make sure when you work on the back of the foot not to go too hard because it is very sensitive there. Try to keep your fingers flat, so it is not going to pokey. Then I use circle of friction on the bottom of the foot. You can work in either direction from the toes towards the heel, or from the heel towards the toes. We can also use a two handed version utilizing the thumbs or you can use the knuckles. Just make sure that you are not too pokey, it is like almost that you use also the flat part of the finger plus the knuckle to work on this area. Then work on the heel, you are using the fingers and the thumb at the same time. And at last, I do a little bit of traction and compression on the toes. You can wiggle a little bit; you get a little bit of movement into the joints and then finish up with some effleurage.
