David Cunningham Assistant Football Coach Nicholls State University we’re working on
movement in the pocket with the quarterback feeling some pressure. Again when you’re
looking downfield as he feels that pressure then we’re progressing to a scrimmage over
there. Just working on getting a deep drop looking the defender off and dumping off the
imaginary defensive end probably running backs.
Everybody on this line, on this line right here, you’re working on pocket movement,
pocket movement, alright so I’m going to start you ten hut, good stance bend your knees,
your eyes looking up here you should be looking up can’t be looking down here got to
bend your knees guys, bend your knees. Getting low let’s what’s going on. Five stick
drop, five stick drop and then I’m going to move around the pocket.
I’m going to make the left, right, back, up. The best that I’m going to point you out and
you spread down. Now I said I point you out and keep that all hanging on the ball so you
can go to any point. Once your point, tuck it out on the outside hand run around the
corner and switch it up. You first here we go man.
Set hut! Five step drop, five step drop. Jumble here, pressure here, I drop back, I’ll step
up in a pocket. Now get down, get down. Tucker way to go. Good job that’s a good
group, switch it up, switch it up. Let’s go here. Step up, step back, get down left hand
here you go. Set! Hut! Good job.
10-Hut!
Here we go, get better.
