Francisco Bhujan: Hi! This is Francisco Bhujan from Vitalcoaching.com. We are talking about personal power waking up your power and the topic for you is forced to fight a war you don't believe in. This is a question that I got on my channel again. It has to do with, what do you do when you feel you are fighting a war, you don't believe in this is for guys and women who are either in Afghanistan or in Iraq and if you really traps within that kind of situation.
So, I got this question, honestly I'm in Europe right now, so I'm not engaged too much into American politics, so I'm going to give you a perspective from an outsider and I haven't been either trap into a war situation, so this is -- I'm going to give you my best stuff, but of course I totally understand that when you are in these type of situation the time is really tough and you need to wake up your survivals skills your survival spirit to make it through and so I am simply going to give you a few ideas that that thing maybe can help you in this situation.
Okay, the first thing I want to say is that these has always been a dilemma in human kind, okay, you had political interest which very often conflict with individual interest and sometimes in the name of the greater good or a greater cause, humans have been sacrificed. Hence, honestly I don't think that life is perfect. That thing that if you know life could be designed in the different way that will be one of the key things to shift around if possible but anyway that's one of the key dilemmas that humans have always been facing and it happens not only when you are tracking the war but when your government pick decisions which are going to have a certain impact on your life and because you belong to certain country this is going to be impact on you in way which sometimes disagree with. It happens when you work within no conversation, within the system and the system simply pull your collars, your own personal freedom and -- so these sometimes work against individual freedom, individual rights, okay.
The second thing that is very important from the standard, is that when you sign a contract to join the army, the contract is very clear it is to exactly what you are entitled to and what the risks are. So, why not you put your signature on a piece of paper which gives you a certain type of rights and forces you to do certain thing, you know most of the time what you are signing up. Sometimes you are not aware of what these entitles, you are not aware of the consequences of what you are sending out up but most of the time there is a legal contract there which is binding and of course I'm not aware of the legalities exactly but what I can say is that most of times when you sign up for something that's what is written.
Now, sometimes you don't read the small letters, you are not aware of what's the consequences are and I hope that this can be like a trap. The other element which is important to remember also is that when there is enough political pressure, for instance right now I am pretty sure that's maybe 30% of Americans actually believe that the war is still a good thing so probably maybe 70% would pull out of Iraq if they could. This means that, right now there is a certain amount of pressure from the people, from citizens to a actually shift the state of what's going on over there.
So, I am pretty sure that sooner or later the government must respond to that and depending on who is elected following the coming elections. This is going to maybe create a shift on that level. Now, what if you are out there, what if you are in the army and right now you would like to go back home and you have no choice but to stay over there. I'm going to give yo a couple of tips that that thing maybe like help you in this kind of situation.
The first thing that I want to tell you is try to shrink to think long-term, try to think survival on a day to day base. Your goal right now is to make it right out or there, okay, so you have to think survival, you have to think strategically how to make sure that you don't get hurt even though it's adventurous place to be in and simply make sure that you are smart enough to win this battle and come back to home safely that's the first thing. The second thing is learn from it. I know that it's a challenge but there are lots of things that you can learn from it about life, about people and develop also values that you can really believe on the long term. The third dilemma is to think of your future relief, start already planning what comes next. Take care and have a good day, bye, bye.
