Hello. It’s Steve from MoreMobile Internet with a review of the NovatelUSB 727 for Verizon. This card is used for anybody who wants to connect to the internet from anywhere in the United States without wasting time looking for WiFi. WiFi can be expensive and insecure. A mobile broadband card can make your life simple. These Rev-A cards hav a top speed of 3.1 megabits per second. So, they are just as fast as most cable or DSL services.
So, what are the pros of this little card? Well, there is quite a few. First off right here, we have a micro SD slot for up to 4GB of external memory. It turns your card into a flash drive to store photos for large files. Over here, we got a port for an external antenna which allows you to add extra signal to your card if need.
The thing that I really like about this card though is that it has the installation software built right into the device. This mean installation is a snap. Just plug it in and the software loads itself.
The other thing of course, the main benefit is that this is a USB device. It works in any computer whether it is a desktop, laptop, it does not matter since every computer has a USB port. Also, it works with all the operating systems, XP, Vista and Macintosh. Additionally, it even works with all of the cradle point routers like this CTR350. What does this do? Well, this allows you to share your one Verizon account with up to 10 other computers at the same time via WiFi. So, it really makes your card an outstanding value and allows more people to use it at the same time.
The only downside to this device that I would like to see would be a foldable USB here because sometimes, it is nice to have it so that you can fold it either up or to the side. But other than that, minor inconvenience, this is a phenomenal card. And, for those of you wondering, yes, this is a free device only at MoreMobileInternet.com.
