Fun Blues Lick

Welcome! This is Brad from Jamplay. I have another lick for you in the key of A and an A minor, pentatonic or blues scale.

Let’s just start out with by taking your third finger and hold it across the seventh fret on the second and third string. And these are going to be what we call double stops where we play two notes at a time. So, what we’re going to do here is we’re going to play the seventh fret second string and third string together.

Then, what we’re going to do is we’re going to slide up to the eighth fret and play the eighth fret on the second and third string. Then back down to the seventh. Then to the fifth fret, we’re going to play the second and third string also.

Then the last note will be on the seventh fret on the fourth string, that is an A note. Let’s just play that together. Slide up and then back down. Let’s just do that one time slow.
