This review of GPS Tracker is brought to you by AppVee.com. GPS Tracker is a location based application for the iPhone that uses the InstaMapper Software from www.InstaMapper.com. It does require you to register with the website for this application to be useful at all. But once it actually figures out exactly where you are it is pretty neat.

It locates you and it sends out information directly to its website. You have to register on the website, entering a specific code for your device, but then when you log in on the website you can actually see where you are in location. Or in relevance to that, this is something where if you want you keep tabs on someone it would be excellent but considering they have to load of the application it is going to be something that they are willing to do.

There are a few settings you can change the units, you can change the target accuracy but overall the real enjoyment of this app is using it on the web version so that you can see exactly where that person with that device is. Again, if this was a background running application for the iPhone it would be perfect for parents but as a kid has to actually open then to application it does not have too much use.
