Bernadette Chimner: GRE is scored, the writing portion of your GRE is scored on a scale from zero to six in half point increments, and those are your essays. Now, your in those essays won’t have any impact whatsoever on your score in the Math and the verbal sections. Your Math and verbal sections are the scores that are usually more heavily looked at by the school and those are both scored independently in a scale some 200-800 just like your SATs were.
