Hello everyone and thank you for tuning in to InsideGeekCanada. My name is Evan Thies. And today is our iPhone feature. And I am going to be doing a little demo on review of a game for the iPhone called GTS World Racing. Now at the time we are recording this video, it was on sale, it says here for $299.00 and I’m not exactly sure what the original price was but to $299 is a really good deal for this game and let me tell you why.
First of all, the graphics are quite good for the iPhone like I know the iPhone is capable of lot but this game looks really and this game is just a lot fun and it actually uses the accelerator so you can go steer. You actually physically steer as if you are a real ‘streamer’ with the iPhone. That is kind of cool that way. And you actually use the accelerator again for 12 features to go forward and back using like a gas pedal. And for the price you in this game definitely it offers a lot of unique features that a lot of the other games don’t offer. And I think it’s kind of fun, I have never been a big fan or racing games in the past but I think the iPhone opens up a whole new world of kind of interactivity with your device as supposed to the typical—do analogue sticks, right. You can actually have an interactive experience with the iPhone. So, I am going to do a basic demo of the game and basically just show you some of the features.
Okay, here we are on my iPhone and there are details for all the racing in action. And actually it just happens to have a menu itself. So, let us go ahead and launch that, and I have to turn it here.
So, this might have a bit more movements simply because I am going to be moving the iPhone around and it might be harder to see, but hopefully you will get the point. So, this is—first when you launch GTS for all the racing what is going to say? So, you will just tap to start and here are some of the different modes you can have. You can have single race which basically means you just simply race your vehicle. Your challenge cup which is basically a challenge for the cup and you have to get over fifth on the next three options just to move on n. The grand tour which basically I believe you go through all the different rent maps. And a championship where you basically just go through into the champion of all the vehicles.
You’re going to have a section here, it will show you basically how to steer, how to accelerate, and just go backwards, how to brake. And basically with too flat which means when you tilt the device too flat, when you move the device forward or tilt to forward, that is going forward and then when you tilt the back, that is breaking and reversing. But if you go too flat, that is basically saying you are going too far in the gas pedal, and you will basically jerk and you will not be able to control your vehicle that well.
If you go to options here, basically, you can just turn on and off the audio and sound it in adjust the steering preferences. So, I am just kind of demo this a little bit. I am going to turn on the sound and I had to turn down so you will hear some music. And I am just going to a single race. So, let us first pick our options here. I am just going to pick easy because I am really not good of this racing as you will probably see and then for the car, I think you I’ll just pick the sports one. The formula one is a bit harder. It just depends on your preferences and of course the sports one is what is known for, so let us go ahead and launch that. And tells you the details in the car, you click accept. And then here is where you can choose your map or the track that you are going to go on. You can just scroll through them all here. I am going to go up and go to Canada of course.
And then it shows you what it is and you click accept. Now, let us turn back up the audio here and let us go driving. Get off the grass, come on! This is actually easier than it looks. I just make it look really difficult because o
