Games Controller Comparisons
Hey guys what’s up? Jon here. Sunday night here in United States I can’t sleep. I figure out actually hands of bed head. I’ll figure out and make a little video through up on the site and YouTube. so what I’m going to do today is I’m going to compare the controllers of the three main video game consoles, the Wii, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. I’ll give you guys a little bit of comparison through size and I’ll talk about weight, I can’t show that in the video.
So, first up Xbox 360 wireless controller all of the controllers I’m going to show the wireless. This is the only one that can’t have a wire but it’s got a first battery pack at the back, it’s removable. This also comes in a wired but it’s not going to —I’ll show you guys. It’s not that terribly heavy. It feels good in the hands. It’s got full around rambled support built in, and lets take real classic up and down and then the A,B buttons are in here A,B, X and Y I believe.
Start button Xbox fan take it to Xbox Live which is X box Live is amazing but I don’t think if you’ll get seven check out bet their video on that. Start button, so all the buttons are on top here, here, here and here. Down here is where you can plug in your wired headset, keys on Xbox Live when you’re playing games and here is where you charge the headset proprietary port plugs into the Xbox. For wireless this will not use Bluetooth. This is in the Microsoft proprietary wireless format, so with the —that’s how I changed it’s wirelessly.
Next up is the PlayStation 3 six access controller. But I haven't really that much of a chance to play around with it. I downloaded a couple of games from the PlayStation store the most image of my PlayStation for a Blu-ray which I did another video on, theylook pretty good. I guess it looks like a regular PlayStation controller it I had a PlayStation prior but in my memory is what they look like, you know the two analog sticks. This does not have rambled support as of right now I know they’re adding it. It’s got here up and down and then your classic position buttons are the diamond DX. The triangle DX is circle and square.
For sure their buttons like an X pack controller, select the start and the button that it will launches the console from the on. It turns on the controller which is nice. I should say to both of these you can turn on the console and turn off the console just by using the button in the middle.
This controller I’ll just turn it on and you can see right there the light it tells you if you want controller—two connector or three connected. The controller is extremely light. I mean almost weight is nothing I’m shock on how less the weight. It almost like they more weight add to it.
The reason it’s called six access is actually it works similar to the Wii controller which I’ll show you in a minute. In that back there it’s got the gyroscopic sensors. Let me turn to the left and it will turn it to the left. Turn it to the right, no you turn it to the right, you know up down are the same, so that’s pretty neat, I haven't had a chance to play around with that yet but that’s what it does and it charges by a mini USB port right here, the plug into the USB port on the console.
The next controller I’ll show you guys is the Wii remote or Wiimote a lot of you guys call it. This is certainly very different in the other three and I’ll show them all next to each other in a minute here. Maybe guys—maybe haven’t that the up and down power button, the A button, home and plus and minus and the one and two.
Now the other controller you held them with two hands, others with meta holes one hand so I’ll show you guys here. Get that frame. You hold that almost like a remote control and at the back there is a trigger button or USB finger, so as you’re moving it you can hold down the A button the up or down on a keypad.
Now this thing is lacking you know most of the buttons they have controllers because it uses on motion sensors, so up it goes left, right you know in right goes right, left it goes left and then when you shake it, it does different motions which is really revolutionary for the Wii, so that is the Wii remote, and attaches to the Wii remote is what you refer to as the non-shock with to this it plugs right into the bottom. This also has the gyroscopic sensors so slowly going to move it from left to right and connected with a cord there. You hold a new chance and certain movement user things so you can remap, shake it and they all to connect. They all of course—your movements on the screen to the gamer point.
So, by comparison something like shaking it from left to right be sure of hitting the AB button on the Xbox 360 while the X button on the PlayStation 3, so here the controllers I’m going to take off the launcher for you, so let me show you guys this quick size comparison of the three so I’m going to get these in front for you, jus down here.
Xbox obviously, PlayStation and the Wii remote, so you can see a little better, so in that angle is nit so good for you there. Anyway you guys can see the Xbox controller and the PlayStation controller are pretty similar in size, Xbox controller is certainly heavier but I think that weight is welcome and the Wii controllers are the smallest in all of the them here resting on top and resting on top you can barely see it.
By comparison as well I’ll add the non-socket so you guys can see it. It does show in the beginning you think but it’s in your hand pretty nice though, so there are our controllers kind of laid out for you and just take a look there, so here what I have. I have put my Xbox a lot. The graphics are that amazing. In fact, I’ve seen in the PlayStation the graphics look just as good as the Xbox if not better, maybe I’ll just have the PlayStation hooked up with the component, there we go the HTMI and the Xbox are dumped with the component maybe a little difference.
The Wii looks little cartoonist but the controllers are fun. I should also mentioned that the PlayStation uses Bluetooth so you can use any cell phone Bluetooth headset to connect to the PlayStation on mine you play with people. Anyway guys this was the controller video. I get myself some ideas from the videos, the Blu-ray I do review on compare the Xbox and the position you guys want to see and maybe something on the Wii as well.
Anyway guys I hope if you’re in bed that you guys can sleep. I’m going to get another whirl here and also don’t forget to check out the website. I’ll post a little thing on here, but it’s Jon4Lakers.blogspot.com.
