I tell you what is wrong with what we are doing with our bodies. What are the couplers and how can be easy to get rid of that.
I am going to show you for instance one of my biggest problems is with sugar. You think you are not eating sugar? Look out how much sugar the average American eats. Now, this is actually about how much the average American eats. Now, I am not eating any sugars, so someone was eating my average.
Now, as I am talking, I am going to continue to give you how much sugar you get in a day, this is one day. One single grain like that is enough to weaken your immune system. That is enough that weaken your immune system. This is enough to put you at half your life expectancy. And by the way, just living a 150 years in ultimate wellness, we are living about 75 and we are sick.
Now here is the issue. What do we need to get rid off? Let us start by getting rid of sugar, and caffeine, and all dairy, and wheat, and pesticides or artificial sweeteners. If we get rid of just those alone, we have gained enormous amount of benefit to our well-being.
There is a reason we should not have these. It is because it over stimulates or depresses the immune system, it creates a virtual toxic reservoir in which our body is susceptible to disease because it is dumped in there.
So we got to start becoming proactive saying “okay, you told me DDT was not bad for me and I trusted you. Tell me before I was good preventing tooth decay, I trust you. Tell me there was nothing or anything in the air that I should be worrying about, I trusted you. I will no more—I am taking back the right to be healthy.” And this is where it begins—Elimination, that is step one—eliminate those things.
Now, not everybody can do it at the same time. Some of you must eliminate one item at a time and it may take you one item per week or one item per month. But the idea is at the end of the year, everything is bad is out and everything good is in. Your are gaining well being. You are not being deprived of anything.
How we achieve this is depending upon the tools we are using. This program is meant to give you these tools. There are foods that will cost pain and you have to recognize those foods. The high process fatty foods, by the way, hamburger could have come from the ground of beef of over a thousand different cows. This is just refined carbohydrates here. This is just pure; this is pure glue in your intestines. You do not want that. It tastes good and you are used to it, but it is not good for you.
And these French fries, loaded with fat and loaded with—look at this, look at the fat in there, and salt, we wonder why we have high blood pressure. An average fast-food meal can give you between 5,000 to 10,000 milligrams of sodium. How much do you need in a day? About a 800 milligrams.
We wonder why 50 million Americans suffer from high blood pressure, where is the mystery? Here it is. But we are also in denial. We in denial the what we liked and what we are used to, what creates our comfort could be bad for us, because, to give this up means we have to give up our comfort and there is the dividing line between those who get healthy and those who stay sick in America.
Testimony from Pat Edgeworth:
When I was suffering from chronic abstractive pulmonary disorder, that was asthma, hepeyglycemia, bronchitis and I use the inhalers that are with full steroids and I found that later I do not want to use those steroids.
Would you suggest that I would be a vegetarian, I said okay to myself and then no smoking was alright and want to keep to exercise—that was a foreign word. You do not tell Pat Edgeworth to exercise.—that was not within my lifestyle what so ever.
I am a good person, I am healthy, I am happy and I know now the garbage in is garbage out. I smoked for 50 years and what I have all got is asthma and I treated my self very badly and the things that went wrong with me were my fault. And I found the truth, and my primary physician said “Congratulations, you have been living with your dietary supplement.”
So, we have got a reprioritized by saying “I want my life to count.” Now if you like your life to count, then you got to eliminate everything that does not honor your life. Make it a list and over a period of time and appropriate ways, disconnect from everything you no longer want to have in your life and reconnect to the things you want in your life. By disconnecting and reconnecting, you have taken back your life.
What are some of the problems with the way we are eating. Well first of all, we were eating too many fried and processed food. These fried and processed foods are causing our arteries to get clogged, precipitating cancers of the breast and prostrate, causing us to age prematurely. Quite simply, we are eating ourselves to death. What is the point?
We can change that. We are going to spend two trillion dollars on disease this year. We could be reversing almost all these major conditions if we realize that we did not have to put out energy into disease. What you are going to see now is how, you do not have to bribe yourself, you want French fries, you want a hamburger, you want a piece of pie, 12 teaspoons of sugary, no.
I am going to give you piece of pie, but no sugar. I am going to give you a hamburger with no meat and no wheat. I am going to give you French fries with no saturated fat and salt. I am going to give you back your health. All you have to do is just have the courage to try it.
And by the way, I am only half through. Double that and that is how much sugar. Let us put it in another way—that is how much sugar you are consuming each day for the average American and we wondered why we have diabetes, and obesity, and tooth decay and depression. Gee, I wonder why?
So you see, it is not difficult to help yourself once you understand what is causing the problems and you can simply avoid those things. Not put them in your diet, not to put them in your lifestyle. It is not hard. This is the step that a lot of people--
