Jay Manuel: Hey I’m Jay with Style Her Famous and I’m going to show you how to get that Tyra dramatic eye. So now we’ve got the color. It’s lighter, I’ve brushed your brows up and again remember Tyra, it’s all about the eye.
Now, we were talking defined brows, right? Or we we’re talking strong arch brows, but you like the full and so does Tyra. So you could see I’m just filling them in, nice. Now, here’s the little extra bit of magic; brow gel. I can’t go anywhere without it. It put brows in place and it really does make a difference.
Now, what we’re going to do, you see how your eyes just light like before with the dark liner and the lash was too heavy? So we’re going to again, smoke the eye out, but we’re going to do with a color which is something Tyra loves to do.
So I’m just going to put my nice pinky highlighter and I think ashy or white on the brow bone and all I’m doing is sweeping a really soft pink in your eyes. Feel where I’m doing it?
Erica Burton: Wow!
Jay Manuel: You like it right?
Erica Burton: I do.
Jay Manuel: It’s soft and pretty.
Erica Burton: It’s very soft.
Jay Manuel: I’m just going to take a brush and smudging the same color beneath your lash. Okay, so look, I’m not even trying to do anything fancy.
Erica Burton: Oh yeah, wow!
Jay Manuel: Do you see how it brings that color around but again, it’s soft and it’s not harsh. So, you--I have discovered, you have some beautiful lashes of your own and you do not need to be wearing a false lash during the day. Take a look at those. Open your eyes and I just had a mascara on the top.
Erica Burton: Oh.
Jay Manuel: No liner, no nothing.
Erica Burton: No nothing.
Jay Manuel: Just eye shadow and mascara.
Erica Burton: Lashes.
Jay Manuel: Your own lashes.
Erica Burton: Right.
Jay Manuel: Another way of really defining your eye, so that you bring more attention to them. If you like that kind of drama, go through reverse color, look I’m going to use this kind of cream. It’s not white because you know how those girls love to take that white line.
Erica Burton: Oh, I'm going to put it right on that inside.
Jay Manuel: But I’m going to use cream. Look up and I’m not drawing it really, really harsh. I’m just putting a little bit in there.
Erica Burton: Now, what kind of cream is that?
Jay Manuel: Well, it’s just a cream color.
Erica Burton: Oh, cream color.
Jay Manuel: As opposed to a white liner.
Erica Burton: Right. Yes, nice trick.
Jay Manuel: Do you know what it does? It cleans up the eye; it makes you look a little more alert.
Now, we can go and put the mascara on the bottom lashes, since you love lashes. Look up. Wiggling back and forth, allows you to really coat the lashes and make them nice and thick without it looking crumpy.
So with the mascara and the beige liner, do you see how your eyes pop? You see how it’s very Tyra? She does that look a lot.
Erica Burton: I do.
Jay Manuel: She loves it.
Erica Burton: I love the beige liner.
Jay Manuel: Yeah and it’s still smoky but it’s not dramatic and oh too much for a day, got it?
Erica Burton: Got it.
Jay Manuel: Remember your eyebrows frame your face, so don’t overlook them and that’s all you need to get Tyra’s smoldering look.
