Nessa: Ladies the mother ship is calling. I’m deep in the heart of Codington with two of most glamorous women I’ve met earlier if not in my entire life. They’re Caroline Stanbury and Jane Blais and they run Style Me which is the personalized shopping service make you look as fabulous and glamorous and gorgeous as you possibly come on your wedding day. They also do also exciting as well. So we’re going to hear by, what they do, how they do it, and how you can be involve? Ladies welcome, thank you for joining me. Tell me a little bit about the background of the business, how you got started?
Caroline: Well style-me is a company that I started a few years ago for men and women, busy men and women who just either number one don’t like shopping. Don’t know how to shop or get confused shopping and I take them for a day shopping. We go to your wardrobe, we call things, we see what styles suits you and we create a couple of wardrobes that’s very easy to get dress. We have every season we just update the look. It’s to stop them and really making those expensive mistakes that people make. I’m sure we move out the things and the background closet with the labels to longer and oh God you know since fortunate no matter and I don’t like it. And it’s kind of like having a best friend with you. Say yes, it might bomb out, look big enough you know that kind of thing.
Nessa: And so how did you get involved together because I believed you’ve known each other for sometime?
Caroline: My part of the business and really took all. And I have regular client who come to me every month where they send me pictures or things they want and a lot of my clients live abroad so I end up traveling to New York and to LA and all these kind of places so I just don’t have the time and have the time anymore, the energy to do as much by myself so Jayne who is a fashion stylist and she’s fantastic on her ways on that the high street and all that kind of stuff and she’s brilliant if you sort of want to copy your celebrity wedding.
Nessa: So imagine that I’ve come to the two of you and I’ve said I want to look fabulous. I’m getting married what would you do for me? How would you dress me?
Caroline: Well, I think a lot is you give us your budget. What you kind of thought that you want to just spend on it. I mean this the great time to not have a traditional wedding dress. The aggression of huge right now, there’s so many different designers on the high street right now and could show a design or two and you can buy off the rack there and even sometimes you can get the samples which makes it cheaper.
Nessa: All right well as fascinating as this always I can't see here any longer because I’m trying to buy stunning high heels and gorgeous dresses and I really just want to go and touch more like and get involved.
Jane: Because you are petite and look fantastic to show off your figure and something really delicate like this with a little bow on your waist to show how small you really are so really emphasizing your shape. You could definitely go for one of the contemporary ones. I would probably suggest either this style that’s very pretty. They’re young looking on your shape. This one is also great one if you want to get up on a go, just to save it you like your back, and it’s up to you really proud of showing the back of course. You can try this.
Nessa: Are you fortunate try on stunning dresses like this? I have to say I am loving it.
Jane: Beautiful.
Nessa: Thank you. This is amazing.
Caroline: I mean it’s a really, really is a good shape for you.
Nessa: It just fit to all the right places. I feel very womanly, it’s a great growing up like I should be, acting differently. It’s amazing and as I suit those laces, it’s just—
Caroline: In a wedding dress because you’re wearing it all day long for something like this and you’ll be running around and greeting people. It really has to be comfortable and it go a pair of shoes like to top up something like that.
Nessa: These are amazing.
Caroline: How beautiful are those.
Jane: And I think the new platform is great because to have as much height in a long dress is fantastic enough and this small inches got a great platform so—another four inches on. So shall we put this on?
Nessa: Okay.
Jane: The final touch.
Nessa: You’re going to veil me up.
Jane: I think this just goes lovely at the back of your hair. I mean obviously you know on the day it depends what sort of look you on, a lot of girls tie their hair back, I just think it’s really soft, the soft wearing.
Nessa: Oh, wow.
Jane: Here we go.
Nessa: Yeah.
Jane: The final look.
Nessa: Yeah, like I said you’re going to have to avoid getting mad, let’s go.
Well it’s been a beautiful fairytale afternoon but for me it’s back to reality.
