Gifts on a Budget

Amie: Hello, my name is Amie. My screen name is armom. I’m here to give you some tips for thoughtful yet inexpensive gifts for the neighbors. My kids and I love to bake cookies and we have some standard cookies that we make that are really easy for the kids to help with. Child: Mommy, you want to try some? Amie: And we put them in these dollar store tins that we find. We might throw in a couple little candy canes and deliver them to the neighbors. We also give some to our mailman and our garbage man because who doesn’t like cookies around the holidays. This is good, you did a good job. It makes me feel very happy that I could do it and I like to instill that in the kids to make them look forward to actually giving a gift rather than receiving one for the holidays. That’s a good job. Good job. My neighbors are very helpful. They will watch my kids anytime I need them to so this is just my way of saying thanks for always being there. It’s really easy to do a thoughtful, personalized yet inexpensive gift that won’t hurt your pocketbook at all. Happy holidays. Child: Happy holidays.
