Welcome to Sunday shooter edition of Common Man Cocktails. I’m your host Derrick Schommer and today we’re going to do a user requested recipe. I just can’t remember if I have to write down who requested it. So, if you’ve requested it, you can leave a comment on everydaydrinkers.tv to let everybody know. You see, I kind of pimp my own thing at the same time. That’s cool, right?
Alright so, what were going to do in the Girl Scout cookies, I love Girl Scout’s cookies in mint ones as well chocolate mint ones and this is one of those little chocolate mint ones or so I hope, I’ve never tried the recipe. I just found and got the chance to do it.
We’re going to mix it. There’s supposedly a way to layer it and I can’t see why it wouldn’t work. I think it’s going to be Kahlua’s then Baileys with pepper mint schnapps on top. We’re going to use rubber mints for our peppermint schnapps. We’re going to use Baileys and we’re going to use Kahlua. You can layer them, I’m not going to do that. I want it nice and chill, so let’s get chilling.
I needed ice. I want ice. There’s our Kahlua. There are our Baileys and there is our peppermint schnapps and that will clear all sinuses. I don’t know how many you have but all of them. There we go, sorry Tito. Shake that up, I almost made myself a little mess here. Also, don’t forget to check out our POM Wonderful contest, if you go and leave a comment on everydaydrinkers.tv, tell use if you use POM Wonderful in your cocktails or not. If not tell us why, if you do tell us what you like in it, maybe one of my cocktails that I’ve made.
And there you go, that is your Girl Scout Cookies. It doesn’t look much like but it looks like milk-chocolate-milk. It smells just like a Girl Scout Cookie though. It’s hard not to admit. Alright so, it does have the Girl Scout Cookie thing going on, not as sweet as the Girl Scout Cookie. It’s the sugary chocolate, not as much chocolate as you get out of the Girl Scout Cookie. That was some of the good properties I like.
It has the mint driven right through. I’m still getting them in so you’re going to have a little coffee as flavor. It’s coffee mint. It’s like the mint Bailey so you might even able to save your time just go with mint Baileys. But, it’s kind of cool to be able to play with the different recipe. That was your Girl Scout Cookie. I say it’s worth the try if you have this, this would probably be the only ingredient you may not have on stock. You can also use Goldschlager or Ice 101, I think, peppermint-D, Schnapps-E, those type of stuffs.
You can just go to iTunes, if you’re an iTunes subscriber and just leave us a comment and vote us up. We’re on page four. We bounce back between four and five. I want to be on page three. That would be totally awesome. If you could do that for me, virtual hugs, I’m your host Derrick Schommer for Sunday night shooters. We’re teaching you how to drink.
