What are the world’s biggest challenges?
Here we are in the month of October. I am in New York; it is like an August day, in bright summer sunshine. An hour that we end everyday of the summer, and yet now we have a beautiful sunny period. But that has—it has negative is everywhere else in the world. So the environment, a huge, huge, issue. But I keep coming back to issue of a global poverty that can be cured. That we live the west need to reminder—sounds that they were not the world and we do have the ability, and it is like you know, that you are in the great plague, that you really not in the great plague that while multitudes were dying from these disease people elsewhere had cure for it, but did not use it.
It is similar today, that there are people in the developing world who have been crippled by foreign debt, who have been crippled by the World Bank, having crippled by corruption in their own places. Or who have been crippled by the fact that the developed word is turning to play and this is what is happening, and what that means it does not just that the people have a hard time. But it means of people actually do not have a life at all.
I think that is a big, big challenge so therefore, issues that global warming well, in fact those people when there are floods. It is the poor people who suffer most, even you have got the disaster in your hands it is the poor people who have suffered most it is almost the chaos at the personal people. So for most because they do not have all the resources, the dwellings, the ability to meet what can be either man made or natural disasters.
