Hi, you are actually witnessing me eat my last meal ever out of a Styrofoam container! Starving right now, so I will just pick one more bite! Okay, you know, I am trying to do one new eco-action every week and I keep going into restaurants and I end up with these Styrofoam containers, I am going crazy, so that has got to stop! This is it! Last time! That is it! So what I did today is I went to Wal-Mart and I bought these, glass containers! I got two stacks of these, really nice with little plastic lids that come on and off and they are even BPA-free. I had to look that up because I did not know what BPA was, it is bi-phenol A and apparently, it is something in plastic that is not good for people. It contains estrogen like compounds, so for $15.00 at Wal-Mart, I got this big container and I got two sets of these! So now, I am going to keep this in my car and whenever I end up at a restaurant and I have leftovers, there we go! No more Styrofoam. Done! Last! This is it! This is the last time you will ever see me with Styrofoam, ever!
