Just outside of Cardiff you have your choice of beaches, mountains or the famous rolling green hills. Conservation is a high priority in Wales although one quarter of the country is protected national park plan. Male: Romans and Celts once tread these paths; today they attract hikers and cyclist to the Braken Bicken National Park. An important aspect as the Welch struggle to assert their individuality is the preservation of the ancient language. Female: The country is also wonderfully setup for cycle touring. There are bike rental shops in every village and hundreds of miles of trail designated by the national cycle network. Using traffic free routes combined with charming country roads you can criss cross the entire country under your own power. Male: There’s enough mountain biking terrain in Wales to keep a fanatic entertained for months or even years. Family ran resorts like this one provides simple accommodations, meals and guides.
