What's going on my friends? Aron Hill here and I just want to put together this quick video to show you, how to set up, a GoDaddy account and purchase your first or probably, may be not your first, but, your, who is domain?. So you want to first go to GoDaddy.com you can spell, GoDaddy.com and I mean, you can use any domain service you like .I prefer GoDaddy just, because of the services it provides .Just going to Enter in my log in details here, okay, we are all logged in. And so when you get to GoDaddy.com there is a place right here in the middle, where you can enter in a Domain name ,so, for example, I will type in mine, I have already purchased mine,but who is, let's get the mouse out a little bit, 'WhoisAronHill' and than you don't put the dot com after end,because it's already here and you just press Go. That's all you need to do. And as you will see it's 'WhoisAronHill' is already taken.
So what you want to do, is you want to have your own, 'who is', page so, I am just going to go back and so,you know, if your name is Bob Smith you just,you know, you want to, 'WhoisBobSmith' and then dot com. Whatever your name is, you put it in place of it's 'who is' and then your first and last name and you go dot com. And then once you go through that, lets just put in, let's try Bob Smith if, will see that's available or not, what will be?Hey, Bob Smith is available. Your name is Bob Smith you better jump all this over , jump all over this right away. So, then you just purchase the dot com. You don't really need any of the other ones, unless you really want to secure your name and you can always purchase the dot net, the dot org, or dot info,but again I am about low cost so I just go to dot com.
GoDaddy now has a ton of options, that are going to try to up sell you want. I personally, when personally when I come to GoDaddy I will buy my domain and nothing else. So I scroll to the bottom here and I click Proceed To Check Out, and now I am not going to the WhoisBobSmith.com just to show you an example here. So again they just going to keep trying to up sell you right here. So again just at the very bottom here they do well at up selling. But you just find their word says, 'No thanks', Continue to Check Out.
And then again, it's going to tell you. It's going to automatically select you for a two year, I just leave it at two years, you don't have to worry about it. Don't worry about everything that is already preset to, just leave it as this, you don't need to change anything else. Again, you can choose how do you use your domain name business personal, obviously, the business, don't worry about any of these options appeared, just go 'No Thank You' and 'Ready to Check Out' and then just press Continue. Computer is little slower than I want it today. Okay, now it takes you just basically to your Order Page, it's going to just review your order. Again, dot com domain, two years, whoisBobSmith.com for two years right here keep it public, again the uni players right now depending on when you are watching this video right now it's say that, with tax $20.38 and then you just go to Double Loops, select your payment method, credit card, pay pal and then you have to make sure you select and read the Domain Registration Agreement and the Universal Terms of Service, and once you read those, you agree of those Press Check Out, and then Boom! Here we go right here, is you just enter in your credit card information and all of that right there. And so that's it guys, when you press Check Out and you buy the domain and it will shoot your confirmation message and you will be all good to go. And in the next video, I will show you how to forward and mask your domain.
