Goal Setting Tips - Starting Fast

Host: Is it important for people to start fast, slow or steady?
Gary Ryan Blair: There is a couple of ways to start, some will say you start fast, some will say slow and steady, maybe the argument of the tallest of the hair. I am a very big believer in the importance of getting wins quickly, small incremental wins that you could build your confidence on and build momentum.
So, I do want people to start fast, because you want to set a pace, you want to have confidence. But it's imperative that you break your goal down, into a process called divide and conquer. Take the larger goal or ambition which is you are moving towards, break it into small components and identify the ones that you can accomplish quickly and the reason for it is, you are going to feel stronger, you are going to feel much more confident and you are going to build momentum which is priceless.
