Golf Tips - Getting Out of a Bunker Part 2

Let's have a closer look at the sand trap; one of the easiest shots in golf. The ball is placed facing the left heal. Club head held just above the sand. The back swing is more vertical than in a normal swing, wrist cocking much earlier. You'll notice that the backswing is made almost, entirely with arms and hands. The transfer is made by the knees. Club face held square to the target for longer than in a normal shot. Watch carefully, the impact area. You'll see that the club does not stop in the sand, but continues causing an explosion as you can see from these pictures.
