Female: How do you find a champion on the court and bringing it into your everyday life?
Lisa Leslie: I keep those as two separate entities when I go to play and workout, I am so focused, I am a little mean and very competitive.” Lisa was the first female player to dunk in the WNBA” After court I am very loving and sweet and I love my family and beat around them and I just have baby so those worlds, I try to keep separate and I that is I am able to I think be successful in both. “Lisa in an active advocate in the fight against breast cancer”
Female: What is the best advice that a coach ever gave you?
Lisa Leslie: That is good question. One thing that comes in my mind just quickly is from Tara VanDerveer, who is the Standford Head Coach right now, women’s basketball. And she always say repetition of error shows lack of intelligence so you do not want to keep doing the same thing over and over you got a think and be smart.
