The first interesting thing I want to show is that you can get the weather, that's the mini weather thing by, I am going to go by typing on weather and my zip code 94531 and then as we can see here we get a little mini four day forecast, pretty cool. If we want to find out what people are searching for this week or what the top searches were, I'll do a quick search for Zeitgeist. Oops I misspelled it, look Zeitgeist, I click this first one, the Google Press Zeitgeist and we get a list of the things that people searching for week ending April 28, Pokemon Diamond, Coachella, I don't know that now, I don't know Mike Penner, I don't know who Katie Price is, I don't know who Jessica Lynch is. I guess I am just now very connected.
And the nice one as you can type in an area code, sorry the zip code, yeah, it will not go to zip code straight way, it's quite a time saver. Let's say that you want to find what movies are playing near where you live. You can type in show times, where you live and then the first result, if you click on the first result and you get the whole bunch of movies and show times and the one near me is Regal Deer Valley, Spiderman III, so that's a real time saver. I used to go up to the newspaper, The Chronicle site and it's about six clicks to get to show times.
Stocks and if you want stock price and graphs, then you can type into Google, the ticket symbol. Microsoft, get Microsoft's graph, current quotes, let's try Cisco, which Steve bought at 66. Oh! Dear, what's my share on that one? Google has a built-in calculator, so we can type two plus nine times five, oh! It's actually giving us the answer there. Let me press return, it will give us the thing, tells us a little more about calculator. The other really nice feature is this conversions. To say 10 kilometers in miles, and look it has even given the answer straight way. We press return, equals 6.2 miles. Let's try another one; 25 pounds in kilograms. Boy it actually just worked out that way, 11.3 kilograms. Press return; 25 pounds is 11 kilograms, very nice.
Google also contains a built-in business and a residential phone book and you type it with 'r' for residential phone book and colon and we pick this one, residential phone book, Mr. Smith, New York, New York and we get whole bunch of Mr. Smiths, Mr and Mrs Smith so we have been - - pretty handy.
