Relieve gout pain and inflammation with baking soda.
Baking Soda increases the alkalinity of your body. So uric acid is less likely to crystallize. Therefore reduces the risk of gout. Baking soda contains a relatively high level of sodium, so you should reduce your salt intake if suing Baking Soda as a gout remedy. The maximum amount of Baking soda per day, unless advised different by your doctor, is four teaspoon daily. Dissolve one teaspoon in a glass of water and drink up to four times a day. Do not use Baking Soda if you suffer from: hypertension, edema, intestinal or rectal bleeding, urination difficulties or heart, kidney and liver diseases.
