Guide to Getting Around Part 23
Buses should be used to collect individual and pick them to a faster mode of transportation. When you hear fast, obviously I am thinking about an airplane. At 550 miles an hour, one of these babies is a real quick way to get around. But for most places of employment that does not really work.
That I ask you have you been to an airport lately? With the inefficiency of the ticketing process and our heightened security alert level, the amount of waiting you have to go to just to get on an airplane can make driving a car over a short distance much more efficient. Remember the flying cars that were predicted for our future, where are they? This is the response that you get, if you are rich enough maybe you can afford to ride a helicopter but there are not a lot of this that can afford to that on a regular basis.
By the time we have flying cars, there is not going to be enough space up there for us to perk them. When hear fast, I thought you are thinking something exotic. Like a high-speed overhead monorail.
We are going to Disneyland. No, fancy trams do not work over the long distances and disperse population we have here.
Besides such a system does not exist now. It could take a decade and millions, perhaps billions of dollars to build it. Los Angeles County has lots of different transit options including the light rail transit system. I do not believe there has been the slightest start of that system reaching in the Ventura County. Out here, we are on our own. Instead, I suggest we looked to an existing resource.
Yes, I am talking about the train.
